Blankets are thick garment that is type of bedding. Blankets are mostly used to get warmth especially while sleeping.

There are many types of blankets like cashmere, cotton thermal which are used in various ways to feel warmth. Electric blankets are heated by electricity. Blankets were traditionally made of wool because of wool's warmth, breathability and natural fire-retardant properties which are less irritating to the skin. These days, synthetic fibers are frequently used for both.
